Exclusive: Nurses with disabilities face discrimination in workplace

I have to applaud my manager who has supported me extremely to the best of her ability. My situation is consideration for toilet breaks which can be quite frequent during the afternoons. I am placed in accomadating places in my role to suit my times of need accordingly throughout the day. I find it to be open and honest is the best way forward to allow your colleagues to have an understanding of your needs. My manager supports me and her staff and with my permission has made others aware of my situation inwhich I can say does reduce annoyance and remarks by others directed towards my allowances to be more flexible.
