Exclusive: Nurses with disabilities face discrimination in workplace

After a horrific RTA . Where i was crushed & left in a coma (marriage breakdown) & 4 children. I was encouraged to go back to work in NHS. I disclosed all my health issues with the manager & HR. In thr unit. My disability was laughed at. I was discriminated Against. None of my health needs or mobility issues were met. Although i pleaded. I suffer from chronic pain. I was continuously bullued by seniors & collegues. They found an excuse and pushed me out. I resigned under duress. Their duress. No room for staff with disabilities . So sad. You would think they would welcome and treat nurses wrll. Not disabled nurses.
