'The RCN must recruit well in a year of nurse leadership change'

It may be "hardly ideal" for a plurality of nursing leaders to go within a short period, but since they have presided over/participated in acquiescing to recommend a frankly rubbish deal, they should go, and go quickly and hopefully without a financial parachute (which would ultimately be paid for by the members left in the lurch). We need leaders who truly are committed to the well being of the people they represent. We need leaders prepared to play hardball with a government which has been underhanded and merciless in its treatment of workers whose goodwill was ruthlessly exploited. Goodwill may be unquantifiable, but is nevertheless finite and will run dry- perhaps sooner than anyone can predict.
