'Why don't my friends treat nursing seriously?'


People seem to still have old-fashioned thoughts about nursing, that we’re just ‘doctor helpers’ but that’s far from the truth. It also doesn’t help how the media portrays the NHS. If you really feel strongly about nursing then I suggest you do it regardless of what other people think. It’s an incredibly challenging BUT equally or even more rewarding. I have never felt so empowered knowing what I know now having finished nursing. Good luck to you!
