Slight drop in nurse vacancies but almost 41,000 posts still empty

Just a thought but while I agree the NHS probably does need looking at asto what can be done to improve both the service and recruitment and I also agree it would be great if more people could be cared for in their own homes where are the staff to do this coming from? If we can't recruit to fill all the current vacancies and community Nursing is even more stretched than hospitals we are told what chance of providing more community care to reduce Hospital admissons. A prpoer pay rise that delivers what staff need after all the austerity instead of the scam we got would go a very long way to making the job much more attractive. This is only my opinion but looking back on my nearly 40 years of Nursing I have enjoyed it but I wouldnt come into the job now
