Personally and Professionally I don't think that anyone who is not themselves a qualified and registered nurse should hold any management or leadership position with the NMC.
Lawyers, Medical Doctors, Surgeons, Dentists, Architects, Accountants,Pilots, Social workers, Police, Fire Fighters, The armed forces, academics...etc do not allow their professions to be governed by, overseen and ultimately controlled by "lay- people" neither should Nursing.Comment on: Andrea Sutcliffe in ‘listening mode’ as she takes helm of NMC
