Toolkit aims to help school children with continence problems

A new toolkit has been launched to help health professionals in primary and secondary schools support children and young people suffering with continence problems.

The toolkit, “Why me?” is produced by ERIC, with funding from the Big Lottery.

The new toolkit features information for school managers about supporting children with continence problems. School nurses are provided with a new starter presentation to help introduce the school nursing service and provide information about health issues including childhood continence.

  • Excellent information, I will certainly be using this tool kit as a source of information. I would recommend this link to any one with an interest in continence management. It is often a taboo subject and bringing it on to the agenda is a positive move towards informing people help and support is there. Thank you!
