CNO launches online support for nurses to share best practice

  • Comment

Chief nursing officer for England Dame Christine Beasley has launched a new section on the Department of Health’s website to give nurses access to the Energise for Excellence quality framework from wherever they are delivering care.

The Energise for Excellence tool is designed to help nurses, midwives and health visitors share ideas and best practice across organisations and was developed by the CNO and SHA chief nurses.

It brings together both national and local tools, techniques and policies in one place.

Launching the website at her CNO’s summit last week, Dame Christine said: “It’s really good for us that we have got something like this at this time.”
