Improve your record keeping skills with Nursing Times Learning

  • Comment

Effective patient care relies on clear and accurate clinical records.

Completing a clinical record after delivering care is not an add-on but an important part of care itself. Nursing Times is launching a new online learning unit on clinical record keeping to help you keep this crucial skill up to date.

Take the opportunity to improve and deepen your understanding of this essential part of your job. Through a series of case scenarios our learning unit will enable you to document clearly and safely. It looks at how clinical records are used in serious incident investigations or when there is a complaint or legal challenge against the care provided for a patient. It explores some of the professional issues in nursing and how these affect clinical record-keeping.

Taking this learning unit will earn you two hours CPD, when successfully completed you can print out a personalised certificate for your revalidation folder.
