I think christmas should be celebrated on the wards in all hospitals throughout the UK, as patients find it hard enough having to stay in hospital over the festive period. My reason is that it will help to make patients stay a bit more bearable. Some good christmas music too would be good to instill a cheery christmas spirit amongst staff and patients.

  • Prisons celebrate Christmas, and they spend more per person on food, etc. NHS the poor relation yet again. If you don't celebrate Christmas in hospital, what reality are we giving our patients, are we aiming to disorientate them entirely??
