Simvastatin tablets recalled

  • Comment
A batch of Simvastatin tablets have been recalled by their manufacturer because of incorrect labelling.
Metwest Pharmaceuticals recalled tablets in packs of 28 with the batch number TS0010806, with the expiry date 07/2008, first distributed on 17 October 2007.

The blister foil has been incorrectly labelled as Simvastatin 20mg, when the tablets present in the blisters are actually 10mg strength.

Recipients are requested to quarantine remaining stock and return it to the supplier. For further information, call Metwest Customer Service on 020 7835 5990.
