I am appalled that the government feel it is acceptable deny the protections of revalidation to a professional group on the basis of cost. The dangers of revalidation for some and not others are outlined in the article.
There must be a robust system of validation which should discourage those the profession could do without, but which should also be supported by employers to ensure those committed to revalidation are able to access adequate training and education.
How dare the government delay this process. Don't rejoice in the delay: this is a reflection of your value to this government.
