State-of-the-art patient simulator training centre opens

  • Comment

Guy’s and St Thomas’ Foundation Trust has opened its doors to a state-of-the-art patient simulator training centre for staff and students.

The centre is the first hospital simulation centre to include GP surgery and home environments as well as acute settings.

It features computer controlled human patient manikins, which breathe, have a pulse, can blink and speak.

Trainers can control the functions of the manikin, responding to the actions of those being trained to create an even more realistic experience.
