Student nurse to take over SNT twitter account

  • Comment

Student nurse, Leanne Siekiera, will be taking over the student nursing times twitter account on Thursday 18 September.

From 8pm she will be hosting a twitter chat on the use of the ABCDE approach, asking key questions such as ’How would you know if a patient is deteriorating?’ and ‘Are there any negative aspects to following a systematic approach such as the ABCDE?’.

Leanne, who represents adult branch, will be the first of Student Nursing Times’ student editors to take over the account, acting as a voice for student nurses.

The aim of the chat is to debate the effectiveness of the ABCDE approach, as well as to share best practice.

Leanne is SNT’s student editor for adut branch

To join the chat, simply log onto twitter from 7pm on Thursday and search for #SNTtwitchat. Include this hashtag in all your tweets.

The chat will run for one hour, both qualified and student nurses are welcome to join.

Follow @StudentNT on twitter to keep up with the latest announcements

Please note that the chat is at 7pm, not 8pm as previously advertised. This is because another twitter chat is happening at that time.
