Are YOU our new Student Nursing Times editor for 2013/14?

Apply by 23 August 2013 to be our one of our new student nurse editors

Are you a student nurse? Are you interested in helping other student nurses gain the most from their nursing education?

Then apply today to be one of our new Student Nursing Times Editors for 2013/2014.

We’re looking for four student nurse editors, one for each branch – children’s, adult, learning disability and mental health nursing.

This isn’t a paid post but as Student Nurse Editor you’ll gain a FREE subscription to studentnursingtimes.net, including access to the nursingtimes.net archive and learning units. You’ll also add a whole host of skills to your CV, including writing and new media.

Your exciting new role will begin in September 2013 and run until September 2014, where you will write weekly blogs for www.studentnursingtimes.net, respond to readers, help out with campaigns and take part in the judging of the Student Nursing Times Awards.

For your sakes, we’re only considering student nurses who are in their first and second years, as we don’t want to interrupt your studies in your final year.

Good luck!

How to apply

Email Nadine.woogara@emap.com by 23 August with:

  • A bit about you: your name, age, where you’re studying nursing, what year you’re in and what branch and a phone number we can contact you on
  • A sample of your writing: one paragraph (max 100 words) on what you enjoy most about being a student nurse

Our deadline is 23 August, so get your application in quick.

We look forward to hearing from you!
