Are you a student nurse? Would you like to represent your branch of nursing as a Student Nursing Times editor?

SNT Editors all

All smiles: 2013/14 Student Nurse Editors at the SNT Awards

We’re looking for four student nurse editors, one from each branch - mental health, learning disabilities, children’s and adult - who are studying nursing at a UK university. The successful applicants will represent their branch from September 2014 until September 2015.

You’ll add a whole host of skills to your CV, including writing and new media, making your job applications stand out from the crowd.

This isn’t a paid post but as Student Nurse Editor you’ll gain a FREE subscription to everything on Nursing Times, including access to the archive of over 4,500 double-blind peer reviewed articles and our CPD learning units (worth over £400!). You will also be invited to the Student Nursing Times Awards in London.

This is an opportunity to make your voice heard, during the last month alone over 20,000 people* read articles on Student Nursing Times. You can use the role to interact with other nurses, seek and offer advice and interact with Nursing Times readers. We are open to ideas and want you to make the role your own.

Your nursing course comes first. Although this role is not strenuous, it will inevitably increase your workload so we are hesitant to offer the role to a student in their third year. Please consider if you are realistically able to take on the extra workload without your grades suffering -we will ask you about this during the informal interview.
