'How can I stop worrying about money?'

Can you advise this student nurse?

“I am in my first year and am enjoying studying so far.

“But I often worry about running out of money before the end of the month. I know that a lot of students have to be careful with their spending and watch their budgets, but it is something I can’t stop thinking about.

“I try to keep costs down on things like my food shopping, but is there anything else I could be doing? Are there any tips that could help me to keep an eye on my costs and stop me worrying so much?”

  • Honestly you’ll never stop worrying about money it’s awful. My advice is cutting back on things like going out to eat, be strict when shopping. Only by the necessities and then treat yourself to things you want as a reward when you’ve achieved something.
