'What can you do to improve patients' experiences of being in hospital at Christmas?'

  • Comment

Share your thoughts, memories and innovations on making the festive period more… well… festive for your patients

Illness doesn’t take a Christmas break. It is inevitable that some patients will need to be in hospital at this time.

As a student nurse or a healthcare assistant, your presence on the ward can make all the difference to patients who would far rather be at home tucking in to turkey than in hospital having their dressing changed.

In the lead up to Christmas, what have you seen teams and individuals do to help improve the experience of being in hospital at Christmas? What have you done yourself? How will your placement area mark the big day?
