An outbreak of swine flu at Eton College may have spread to as many as 32 pupils, according to government health officials.
On Thursday, the HPA confirmed that a
13-year-old pupil from the school had contracted swine flue, otherwise known as H1N1 influenza A.
All pupils and staff are being offered antiviral Tamiflu drugs and the school will remain closed until Sunday following advice from the HPA.
When boys begin to return to the school, they will all be tested for possible symptoms. The school is also closed to tourists and tests have been suspended for the week.
