The big question: has your trust taken steps to meet national staffing guidance ahead of this month's deadline?

There is intense pressure on trusts to publish “safe staffing” data to the public, as part of the government’s response to the Mid Staffordshire Foundation Trust public inquiry.

Last year, health secretary Jeremy Hunt said all NHS hospitals would have to display the planned and actual number of nurses on each shift on each ward by the end of June at the latest. This data would then be collected by NHS England and published on the NHS Choices website.

What measures has your trust taken? Are specialist nurses being asked to leave their workload to make up numbers on the wards?
