The big question: what has changed at your trust since the Francis report?

Robert Francis QC published his report on the high-profile care failings at Mid Staffordshire Foundation Trust on 6 February 2013.

Mr Francis set out 290 recommendations focused on improving care and patient safety.

A year on from the report, what impact do you think that it has it had on nursing?

Your comments could be published in Nursing Times.

  • No changes whatsoever, we are A 25 bed female acute mental health ward with an average of 5 staff on early and late shift 4 staff on nights. However the number has recently increased due to having a service user who requires 2:1 observations 24/7
