AROUND 7,000 people marched through central London this month in support of the NHS ahead of its 60th anniversary next year.

Among those who took part in the ‘I Love the NHS’ rally on 3 November were Alexis Davis (left), an ICU staff nurse at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, Dominic Lewis, a staff nurse at Queen Mary’s Hospital Sidcup in Kent, and Sarah Allen, a nursing student at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.

The march was organised by the Trades Union Congress and ended with a large rally at Trafalgar Square.
