Only a matter of time before this happened. Successive Prime Ministers have been warned and chose to ignore those warnings. I`m retiring in a few weeks, and very happy to do so.
Best of luck to those of you who are left(stuck)behind....

I am a specialist nurse and will as always vote Conservative!
Can you tell us why??????????/
I`d be very interested to her your rationale for always voting Conservative.
Comment on: 'Has nursing been pushed too far this time?'
Feelings are running very high, and many nurses are extremely disgruntled. However, as we`ve seen so many times in the past, getting nurses to actually take part in a ballot, let alone a strike, is almost impossible. (And the government know it..!!!). Our biggest enemy over recent years, has been our own reluctance to actively engage, and demonstrate that we will not allow ourselves to be taken advantage of. We often back away because we don`t want to compromise patient safety, but by not taking action, that is exactly what we are doing....
Unfortunately, we must take a fair share of the blame ourselves. Yes this govenrment is doing everything it can to derail, and ultimately dismantle the NHS, but we have, in effect, stood back and let it happen. We have not been strong enough to stand up, take action, and fight for ourselves, and the Government have been able to ride roughshod over us. Now the battle is lost me thinks.......
What a joke!!!!!!!! And these are our "Leaders" ????? God Help Us.
