Training campaign gathers support

  • Comment
Four more nursing organisations have given their backing to Time Out For Training.

The Community and District Nursing Association, the Society of Sexual Health Advisers, the Infection Prevention Society and the School and Public Health Nurses Association have all signed up in support of NT’s campaign to get funding and time protected for post-registration training.

They join other key bodies, including Unison and the RCN. Gail Adams, Unison head of nursing, said: ‘We’re only as good as our knowledge and experience. To maintain high quality patient care, members of the nursing family need access to training. That’s why Unison is backing this vital NT campaign.’
