  • Comment on: RCN leaders must trust their members to decide the future

    VASILEIOS GRIGORIOU's comment 15 September, 2018 0:27 am

They must stand down. They have been disappointing the members. Enough is enough! We need leaders with guts, not complacent 'apolitical' losers. They blame the activists for their own failure. They do not deserve to be our leaders. They are a shame!

  • Comment on: 'The RCN must recruit well in a year of nurse leadership change'

    VASILEIOS GRIGORIOU's comment 23 August, 2018 10:10 pm

The only positive thing that such "nursing leaders" can offer to nurses and nursing is their resignation. They are part of the rigged system that tries to perpetuate the same, old, sinful status quo which allows social inequality and injustice to continue for time indefinite, innocent nurses or nurses that have made minor mistakes to be witch hunted behind closed doors, the issues that matter to be hidden under the carpet, manager and employers to escape punishment when they abuse and scapegoat staff for system failures. They just move around on massive salaries because they serve the system well. We deserve really good leaders, not the system's subordinates.

  • Comment on: Whistleblowing nurse Margaret Haywood reinstated

    VASILEIOS GRIGORIOU's comment 14 October, 2009 9:19 pm

As a nurse registered with NMC and ENE ( the regulatory body for Greek nurses ) I want to thank Margaret Haywood for her fight against poor care standards and congratulate her on her reinstatement on the register. I also want to thank all the nurses, doctors and other people from all over the world who have morally supported Margaret Haywood by signing the on-line petition, sending letters to the NMC etc. and thus have helped her to win her reinstatement on the register of her country and in the global nursing community.
Raise your head, Margaret, and take courage, for your colleagues from all over the world have and will always have been adoring and supporting you.
With all my love, support and admiration
    Vasileios Grigoriou.
