Wireless device for ICU glucose monitoring

  • Comment
The first wireless hospital blood glucose meter has been launched.

The Accu-Chek Inform II system transfers HbA1c results, plus patient and clinician details, from the bedside to the hospital medical records system.

The device’s developer Roche Diagnostics, said the new product would help ICU nurses keep control of their patients’ blood glucose level by ensuring the ‘right test is done on the right patient at the right time’.
