My fellow nurses, I strongly believe that high education with the hints of compassion, care and common sense are the perfect combinations of a good nurse. It is a simple logic folks, you cant see when you are blind so better equip yourselves with a bright knowlegde, skills and behaviours that will surely point you to the right direction.

stop complaining about your job. if you dont like it, just find another one. why do you stay in a job wherein you always moan for staffing ratios, no time for quality care and many more. these problems have been in the system since you were born, these have never been mended by any for of complaints of moaning. look for a better job or trust and have a LIFE. OK?

We all know this long time ago but nothing has been done because the NHS focuses on targets that aims on quantity of care that were given and not on the Quality of how it was delivered. Simple example is the recent creation of clinical decision unit in several acute general hospital. It doesnt deliver any quality of care at all because it only play around on four hour breaching time by moving patient from A&E to CDU before it breaches and then the poor patient will be waiting for another four or more hours before bein seen by the doctors. The sad part is this patient has been in the trolley lying uncomfortably maybe obtaining hospital acquired bed sore. Some of the patient will not be seen by the consultant in CDU because consultant needs to go home and CDU is closing at 10pm so the poor patient will be transferred to MAU-Medical assessment unit to be clerked and the poor patient will be waiting another 4 hours or more before being seen by the doctor because there are other patients waiting to be seen before our poor patient. This SYSTEM is so RUBBISH playing foolish game with the patients. Now tell me, what on earth this things is happening. Anyway, I am just sharing my observation. Nothing will happen anyway for better because the people on the TOP are selfish that keep only thinking on TARGETS.
